History of Salomon
In 1947 Salomon began as a family business manufacturing wood saws and ski edges' in a small workshop in the old town of Annecy, France, in the heart of the Alps.
Today, Salomon is a worldwide leading brand, who is #1 in Winter Sports. Its satellite brands include Arc'teryx, Mavic, Bonfire and Cliché. Salomon is present from the top of the mountain, with a full line of winter sports equipment and apparel; throughout the valley, with footwear and apparel for outdoor sports; in the streets, with inline skates; and at the sea, with S-Core surfboards and apparel.
