Management duties and responsibilities

President and CEO

The Board of Directors nominates the President and CEO, who is responsible for managing Amer Sports in accordance with the Finnish Companies Act and instructions provided by the Board of Directors.

The President and CEO reports to the Board of Directors and keeps the Board of Directors informed about Amer Sports’ business, including information about relevant markets and competitors, as well as the Company’s financial position and other matters of significance. The President and CEO is also responsible for overseeing the Company’s day-to-day administration and ensuring that the financial administration of the Company has been arranged in a reliable manner. The President and CEO is assisted by the Executive Board.

Executive Board

The Executive Board’s task is to insure that the Amer Sports Corporation strategy is implemented consistently across all business segments and business units. Other executives participate in the meetings as necessary. The Amer Sports Executive Board comprises of the Group level Senior Vice Presidents, the Presidents of business segments and the most important business areas. In addition to the Amer Sports President and CEO, who is the Chairman, there are 16 other Executive Board members. The Presidents of the business segments and business areas serve as the brand and/or business segment representative on the Executive Board. The Executive Board meets three times a year.
