For the recreational tennis player, using a suitable racket is a big part of enjoying the game. Players should take their time to select the best racket for their preferences and playing style.
It goes without saying that a slalom skier does not start down a twisting and turning course wearing long, planklike downhill skis, nor will you see a marathoner with small feet take to the starting line wearing size 12 sneakers.
It should be equally obvious that every tennis player needs to choose a racket that best matches his or her playing style, physical ability and skill set. Players must be aware of their needs and try out a few different alternatives before deciding which one to buy. There is a wide variety of tennis rackets on the market to suit all types of players.
