The new colors for Suunto Lumi – the first outdoor sports instrument designed for women, by women – are designed for women who enjoy sport in both urban and outdoor environments.

The new Sportif Black and Sportif Olive Green straps are easy to adjust and suited to trekking in the wilderness as they are to urban leisure. Suunto Lumi can be worn as a wrist unit, as a pendant, or attached to a backpack in a carabiner jacket. The pendant and carabiner jacket come now along with the wrist unit.

The new Terra Black bracelet strap transforms Suunto Lumi into an elegant evening piece.

Suunto Lumi is a reliable sports instrument packed with the features necessary for making the most of the outdoors experience, it includes an altimeter, barometer, compass, chronograph, thermometer, and sunrise and sunset times. It is designed for women who enjoy spending time outdoors and who care about design and high quality. Suunto Lumi showcases how technical instruments can be turned into intuitive, useful, wearable and feminine products, without compromising on quality, accuracy or functionality.

Just last week Suunto Lumi, introduced to the market last fall, was honored with the red dot product design award in Germany. red dot is one of the most renowned and hardest-fought international design competitions. Last November, the US National Geographic Adventure Magazine awarded Suunto Lumi the Best of Adventure Gear Award.
