Meet Jesse Chapman, our HR Business Partner who takes us along for a day in New York City.
My day kicks off around 6 AM with a walk along the West Side Highway with my pups. After that, I hop on a Citi Bike and head off to our Flatiron office. I’m usually one of the first in, so I’ll switch on the lights and make sure the snack stash is stocked. Coffee in hand, I review my to-do list and follow up on anything left from the day before.
Mornings often include team meetings with my European colleagues before their workday ends, plus candidate interviews and application reviews. It’s a fast-paced rhythm that keeps things exciting.
Lunch is either a prepped meal (working on that habit!) or something delicious from around Madison Square Park. It’s also prime time for chatting with teammates about weekend plans, happy hour ideas, and the eternal debate: who serves the best slice in NYC?
Afternoons are packed with interviews and meetings with hiring managers. It’s all about connecting the right talent with the right opportunities.
After work, I hit the gym—weightlifting, running, and incline walking are my go-tos, always in Wilson gear and Salomon sneakers. Then it’s time to unwind and gear up for the next day!
