Day in the life of an Information Security Senior Manager

Today, Pankaj, a member of the Cybersecurity Risk Management Team and the Information Security Officer for Atomic, Armada, and Peak Performance, shares a glimpse of his daily routine at the office.

I start my workday at 8:30 by commuting to the office. It’s a great time to mentally prepare for the day ahead.

I prioritize tasks based on urgency and regularly check in with the group channel to address urgent issues or questions. This helps me stay connected with global team members and maintain alignment. We also hold weekly meetings to ensure everyone is on the same page.

My responsibilities range from reviewing security programs with IT leaders to responding to urgent queries from the data protection team. Yesterday, for example, I worked on a security program discussion with one of the brand heads of IT, responded to due diligence requests, and collaborated with our Security Director and VP on improving processes.

Lunchtime is always a highlight for me. It’s the perfect opportunity to unwind, share informal conversations with team members, and build strong relationships that enhance collaboration.

After a productive day, I finish by wrapping up my to-do list. It helps me start the next day with a clean slate and keeps things running smoothly.
