What inspired you to join Amer Sports?
Amer Sports is both a global and established company, while also showing impressive growth and agility. Growing up in South Africa, where sport is deeply embedded in our culture and history, I connected strongly with our purpose to elevate the world through sport. Having worked with various finance functions globally, I felt confident that I could make a meaningful impact here, and it’s been amazing to be part of the journey so far.
Has anything surprised you since starting at Amer Sports?
How much Amer Sports invests in leading technologies, people, and best practices to create a world-class finance function. On top of that, the support I’ve experienced from leaders and the incredible talent and diversity within my team have far exceeded my expectations. Every day is different, which makes Amer such a dynamic place to work. I also get to collaborate with multiple global departments and interact at all levels, which creates endless opportunities to learn and grow—both professionally and personally.
