United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals

The United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provide a framework for companies to contribute to a sustainable future. At Amer Sports, our sustainability strategy is aligned with the SDGs, and our four priority goals are incorporated into our business operations and decision-making processes.

For us, SDGs 3, 8, 12 and 13 are the most material and represent the areas where we can have the greatest positive impact.

Goal 3: Promoting health and well-being
Promoting good health and wellbeing creates a solid foundation for us at Amer Sports, as we, together with our brands, promote healthy and active lifestyles and encourage people to enjoy sports. Physical inactivity is rising globally, with nearly one-third of adults and up to 80% of young people not reaching recommended activity levels¹.

By promoting healthy and active lifestyles, we can support everyone who loves sports in reaching their own wellness goals. As a member of the World Federation of Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI), we support global efforts to increase physical activity.

Goal 8: Advancing sustainable employment and economic growth through ethical labor standards
We promote sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, alongside full, productive employment, and decent work for all.

We support workers’ rights and are committed to providing fair and decent working conditions that protect their human rights. We have a complex supply chain, and we actively cooperate with our partners to support fair labor practices across that chain. In 2025, 99% of our finished goods purchases came from suppliers audited in line with Fair Labor Association standards.

Goal 12: Dedicated to sustainable production and supporting responsible consumption
As a Group, we are dedicated to implementing sustainable production methods, reducing waste and pollution, and advancing the use of recycled and lower-impact materials in our products. We have implemented our circular economy principles through several active initiatives. In 2025, 19.3% of materials used in our apparel and footwear were recycled, up from 13% in 2024.

Goal 13: Taking action on climate change and reducing our carbon footprint
We focus on fighting climate change and mitigating its impacts. This includes reducing greenhouse gas emissions, increasing adaptation and resilience to the impacts of climate change, and strengthening education and awareness. We continuously strive to reduce the environmental impact of our group’s operations and to reduce our carbon footprint. Our near- and long-term science-based targets were validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in January 2025.
