We have published the Amer Sports Sustainability Report 2025, which outlines our sustainability priorities, actions, and performance across climate, circularity, people, and the value chain during the 2025 reporting year.
The report provides an overview of the progress made during the year, as well as the foundations we continued to strengthen through externally validated targets, improved data quality, and closer alignment with evolving regulatory requirements.
Our 2025 highlights
- Our net‑zero by 2050 ambition and near‑term 2030 climate targets were validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), including Scope 1, Scope 2 (market-based1), and Scope 3 targets using 2022 as the base year.
- We maintained an A‑ rating in CDP Climate for the second consecutive year and achieved an A score in CDP Supplier Engagement.
- While absolute emissions increased year-over-year, driven by business growth, we achieved reductions in emissions intensity per revenue across Scope 1, Scope 2 (market-based) and Scope 3, and increased our renewable energy share in our own operations from 39% to 72%.
- We assessed our impacts and dependencies on nature following the Taskforce on Nature‑related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) framework, completing the Locate and Evaluate steps of its LEAP (Locate, Evaluate, Assess, Prepare) approach, including a biodiversity footprint assessment.
Our brands continued implementing circularity in practice through several initiatives, including repair and resale services, recyclable product concepts, and lower‑impact packaging solutions.
- Arc’teryx ReBIRD™ expanded to 43 service centers globally, processing 50,000+ cases, and resale grew 24% vs. 2024.
- Salomon developed the XT PU.RE as a circular, high‑performance concept shoe, redesigning the original XT using mainly recycled and fully recyclable materials.
- Wilson reduced single‑use plastics and shifted toward more recyclable, paper‑based packaging solutions across categories.
- Peak Performance introduced the Helium Loop Anorak proof of concept — designed for recyclability and recognized with an ISPO award.
- Atomic conducted 25 product life cycle assessments and redesigned key ski models, achieving a 30% reduction in raw material CO₂e emissions in its Backland models.
1Market-based emissions reflect supplier-specific emission factors or contractual instruments where available; otherwise, residual mix factors are used.
“This report reflects a collective effort across our brands, teams, and partners. I want to thank everyone involved for their contribution to improving our data quality, transparency, and shared understanding of where we are and where we need to go. I’m proud of the collaboration across Amer Sports. It has helped strengthen the foundations for continued progress.” –Tea Lindfors, Director, Sustainability Reporting
Looking ahead
Looking forward, our focus will be on putting our revised 2030 sustainability targets into action across the group, while continuing our progress toward CSRD and ESRS reporting. We will further strengthen the foundations that support this work — clear governance, reliable data, and audit‑ready processes. We recognize that as a strong growth company we need a strong climate approach. In 2026, we will develop a Climate Transition Plan to ensure meaningful progress towards our science-based targets.
