Amer Sports Executive Committee has been expanded. In addition to CEO James Zheng, COO Michael Hauge Sørensen and CFO Andrew Page, the Executive Committee will now also include the Brand Presidents and CEOs of our three core brands—Stuart Haselden of Arc’teryx, Franco Fogliato of Salomon, and Joe Dudy of Wilson—as well as Chief Strategy Officer Victor Chen.
Consistent with our brand-led and Group-enabled operating model, this evolution ensures that our core brands will be more strongly involved and aligned with the Executive Committee considerations and decision making, driving even stronger, more unified decision-making processes and governance for Amer Sports. Inclusion of Strategy function enables integrated company-level strategy and planning. All Executive Committee members continue also as members of the Amer Sports Executive Board.
Further, the following changes in the Executive Board will be effective on January 1, 2024:
- Michael Schineis, President of Winter Sports Equipment, will retire after more than 30 years of commendable service. He will continue as senior advisor to the Amer Sports Executive Committee.
- Wolfgang Mayrhofer, President of Atomic and Armada, will become a member of the Amer Sports Executive Board.
- Armin Fuchs will step down from the Amer Sports Executive Board and continue in his new role as General Manager and President of Salomon EMEA.
