Salomon has announced a new five-year global partnership with IRONMAN, bringing together two leading endurance sports brands with a shared ambition to shape the future of endurance.

Starting in 2027, Salomon will become IRONMAN Global Premier Partner through 2031, with exclusive rights across performance footwear, apparel, and technical bags within the IRONMAN ecosystem. The partnership will span IRONMAN events globally and includes Salomon becoming Title Partner of the 2027 IRONMAN World Championship in Kona, Hawai’i.

The collaboration builds on Salomon’s expertise across endurance disciplines, from Nordic skiing and trail running to road and gravel running. Triathlon is a natural extension of this performance heritage, as athletes increasingly move between sports, terrains, and challenges.

“Athletes no longer define themselves by one sport. They run on the road, compete in the mountains, take on triathlons, and continually seek new ways to challenge themselves. Endurance has become a lifestyle. For Salomon, joining forces with IRONMAN is a natural step and an opportunity to bring our performance expertise to one of the world’s most committed endurance communities,” says Guillaume Meyzenq, President, Salomon.

Bringing the partnership to life

Through the partnership, Salomon will be present across selected IRONMAN-owned events in the United States and Europe, including ownership of the IRONMAN Running Course. The brand will use these moments to connect its growing road running expertise with the final discipline of long-distance triathlon.

“IRONMAN and Salomon are united in the belief that endurance sports unlock human potential. This partnership is rooted in a commitment to serve athletes and help them pursue ambitious goals. Salomon’s heritage, performance expertise, product innovation, and community-driven philosophy make the brand a natural partner for IRONMAN,” says Scott DeRue, Chief Executive Officer, The IRONMAN Group.

The partnership will come to life through three focus areas: athletes, product innovation, and human performance expertise. Salomon athletes Marjolaine Pierré, Julie Iemmolo, and Casper Stornes will bring first-hand insight into the demands of long-distance triathlon, helping inform the brand’s approach to training, racing, and running after hours of effort.

Salomon’s road to Kona starts already in 2026, when the brand will host its first activation during the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona with an immersive pop-up at Kona Heaven on October 7–8. In 2027, Salomon will step into its role as Title Partner of the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona.
